Scott Voigt
Owner
Scott has been with the Tka team for five years and has more than 27 years of experience. Formerly with Rudolph/Libbe and Vogel Brothers, Scott enjoys meeting and developing new business and personal relationships. He also loves hearing a client say "thank you" – he says it’s a sign of a job well done. Scott is married with three kids. His sons are studying engineering at ISU, and his daughter is in high school.

Steph Weiand
Owner
Steph is a 20-year veteran of the industry and has been with Tka for five years. His favorite part of his work is that he builds long-term relationships with clients that often turn into friendships. He feels the service Tka provides is truly unique and enjoys being involved in a project's entire process. Steph prides himself in being hard-working, loyal, trustworthy and a stickler for detail. He and his wife Julie have been married 12 years and they have a 10-year-old daughter, Morgan. When Steph isn't working, he likes to travel, work around the house and watch NFL and NASCAR.

Jim Christensen
Business Development
Formerly of Walker's Shoe Store, Jim is thoroughly enjoying his first year at Tka. He is skilled at creatively finding new leads for the company. Jim’s strengths are his abilities to communicate and adapt. He finds it easy to get to know clients and gain their trust. Jim is married to Marianne, and they have three sons, all very active in sports. Jim coaches baseball in his free time, and he enjoys skiing, swimming, golf and spending time with his family.

Kara L. Carr
General Manager / Communications Operator
Kara has been with Tka for three years and has more than 17 years of experience. Formerly with Northeast Printing and the U.S. Air Force, Kara says she loves her job at Tka because she works with of the wonderful group of people. In Kara's free time she enjoys watching her kids play sports, spending time with friends and family, and riding a Harley.

Todd Meyer
Project Manager
Todd has worked at Tka for four years, and his 20-year career includes time with Kirk Gross Co. and the military. He loves the fast-pace, challenging environment of Tka and being able to collaborate with professionals from a variety of backgrounds. Todd excels at listening and retaining knowledge. He has four children, ranging in age from 6 to 10. While they don’t leave him much free time, he enjoys skiing and snowmobiling in the winter, and boating and skiing in the summer.

Damien Sauerbrei
Draftsman
Damien has been a member of Tka for four years. He really enjoys creating 3-D renderings so he can show customers what their project will look like before building has even started. Damien prides himself in getting things done in a timely manner and developing excellent working relationships with clients and coworkers alike. Damien has been married since August 2006, and he has a 12-year-old stepdaughter. He enjoys playing volleyball, golf and Texas Hold'em with friends.

Amanda Murphy
Senior Customer Service Associate
Amanda has been with Tka for more than a year now. She loves her job because she would like to be an architect someday. Amanda enjoys the new things she gets to learn about and do—and all the wonderful people she encounters. Amanda prides herself on being organized and punctual. In her free time, she enjoys volleyball, painting and shopping for shoes.

Mark Kirkeby

Mark has been with Tka for four years. A good listener and easy to get along with, Mark enjoys many things about his job including meeting new people, working with great clients and subcontractors, and traveling. He spends his free time at home with his wife, and also likes to ride his motorcycle, fish and spend time outdoors.

Todd Robbins
Superintendent
Todd has a decade of experience in the industry and has worked at Tka for a year. His favorite part of his job is interacting with clients and he takes pride in his customer relations skills. He likes the challenge of building something that will last for many years. Todd has three kids, ages 17, 14 and 8. In his free time, he enjoys outdoor activities like waterskiing, hunting, fishing and swimming. He also likes motorcycling, woodworking and weight training.

Mark spent 14 years running his own property maintenance company and has been with Tka for a year. He loves that he faces a new and challenging experience every day. He brings to his work his easy-going attitude, excellent communication skills and a strong work ethic. Mark has remodeled his own home and likes to continue to work on it. He and his wife, Julie, have a 14-month-old daughter. In his free time, Mark golfs, boats and spends time with his family

James Farley
Superintendent
James has been in construction for 24 years, four of which have been with Tka. He likes the challenge each new job presents, and enjoys working outdoors. James takes pride in his skills and says he excels at organization. He has two kids, ages 14 and 22, and he likes spending his free time with them. He also enjoys sports and fishing.

Daryl Hall
Superintendent
Daryl's been working with Tka for 2 ½ years, but has been in the field for 38 years. He likes the challenge of problem solving, excels at meeting deadlines and enjoys building relationships with clients. He has three children and five grandchildren, and spends the little free time he has golfing and fishing.

Verne Gutman
Superintendent
Verne likes challenging jobs and credits his expertise to his 23 years of experience. He's been with Tka for four years and strives to make sure everything he builds is the best it can be. He has four children and 17 grandchildren, with whom he likes to spend his free time. He also enjoys woodworking.

Steve Morrissey
Carpenter
Steve has been with Tka for 3 1/2 years. During his time with us, Steve has especially enjoyed learning the methods that go into constructing commercial buildings and seeing all of the other trades people specialize in at Turnkey. Steve has been married for 31 years and has two daughters and two grandchildren. Steve likes working on his drag car, fishing and just likes relaxing with family and friends.
